 Our Approach *

The goal of DHR & Associates is to take a "hands on" approach in identifying and implementing the turnaround of an under performing operation to the point where the business can be returned to professional management. Beginning with an assessment and in depth review of all areas of company operation, our role is to become actively involved in managing a company throughout the turnaround and to the point where a group of professional managers are in place and sufficiently experienced to carry on with the business without our day-to-day involvement. 
 
 

 Key Steps 

  • Company assessment in all functional areas including Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, Engineering Technology and Development, Manufacturing and Operations, Information Systems, Purchasing, and Financial Management.  
  • Identifying company activities in need of repositioning, divesting or expansion.  
  • Developing a coherent business plan or strategy to effect the  turnaround.  
  • Developing an implementation plan with defined timelines.  
  • Assuming a leadership role(s) in executing the implementation program.  
  • Recruiting and training senior management (internally or externally) that have capability to continue manage and grow the company post turnaround.  
While our approach is customized for each individual situation,  our belief is that meaningful and lasting turnarounds require leadership though our active "hands on" involvement with the business for a period of about 12 to 24 months.
